The opening of the current account abroad is basically not possible.

Residents:

• Company registration: not older than 3 months, transmission in original or as certified copy,
• Foundation documents: transmission in original at site or as certified copy,
• Certificate on classification (Republic Institute of Statistics) (original at site or copy which is verified by relevant authorities)
• Tax identification number (PIB) (original at site or copy which is verified by relevant authorities)
• Photocopies of valid personal document with picture of the authorized person (s) (identity card, passport)
• Document verified from relevant authorities, or business document from which structure of the company can be seen (original at site or copy which is verified by relevant authorities)

Non-residents:

• Company registration: not older than 3 months,
• Document showing present shareholder structure
• Tax identification number (PIB) – if the purpose for opening of account is purchase of securities or opening of RSD account – verified photocopy or original
• Verified photocopy of passports of persons authorized for opening the account, persons authorized to dispose with funds

The documentation must be submitted in original and as certified copy along with a translation made by the official interpreter in Serbian language. Company registration must be submitted on a yearly basis in order for the non-resident account to remain active.
